” Green River Watershed” is a unique piece that shows how delicate the life cycle of a tree is. I liked the saying “Once its finished it’s just starting” This reminds me of all the things that we don’t see going on in nature. I really would like to photograph close ups of the trees living bio system. I guess when we look at a tree we are not just seeing a tree. Rather than saying oh its a tree and now its gone. What it really can be is an opportunity to investigate levels of life within life.

Scott Calhoun

As I read this article my thoughts drift into abstract correlations between plants and people. The way that he was called to photograph these poppies, was no mere coincidence. I like the phenomena of a cactus flower because it seems more rare. So the event becomes spectacular and the timing when done right adds to the moment of inspiration.

Robert Adams

Robert Adams has done a great justice to society in putting there stark images of land misued in to photos. If there was a nobel peace prize for art photography I would saw, hands down, that it would go to him. coincedentaly his last name is Adams which brings to mind another very famous Adams, whom I also admire and respect the work of. So incomparison to each other I would say they both in different ways have achieved the same results.

The Removal Act

I just saw a chilling music video. I can she why Janel sings this song. It hurts to see the way things are. When animals and people are mistreated. There should be questions as to why this is happening. Who will stop the cycle? How much is enough? It didn’t have to be this way, there is always a choice to be peaceful.

I like the art she does at the end.
